Dear Carolyn and fellow associates in the poetry/memoir residency,
Like Nicole, this is my first blog ever and I suspect I will be a strong competitor for the Luddite honors. I am from Jackson, Mississippi, where I taught at Millsaps College until my retirement several years ago. This will be my third residency at ACA and I can't wait to get back. It is a magical place and I'm looking forward to enjoying the intense productivity of another three weeks there. I hope I can handle the blogging and can get this posted. My wife has been blogging and has tried, she says, to bring me into the 21st century. With no success so far, but I guess I've going to be brave and take the plunge here. I'm eager to meet you all here on the blog and in a little over two weeks at ACA.
